Oliver Design is the end product of a life dedicated to Naval Design; the life of its founder who has worked in this field ever since his graduation in Naval Engineering in 1964.

After a brilliant start to his career in La Naval Shipyard in Sestao, which would later be known as Proyectos Navales, his overwhelming desire to see his own projects become a reality led him to establish a building yard, “YATES REVILO”. It was here that between 1970 and 1978 a total of 27 yachts were constructed to order, the modern lines of which are still striking.

At the end of this period Jaime Oliver decided to concentrate entirely on naval design and founded his own firm where he continued to develop his creativity and to produce innovative designs which he offered directly to ship owners and shipyards around the world.

From 1990 onwards, Jaime Oliver, with the aid of the extensive experience gained in earlier periods of his life, sought to consolidate and strengthen his position on the international market. It was also at this time that his company adopted the trade name Oliver Design. He could count upon the assistance of his sons Manuel and Iñigo, and within a few years the company had multiplied and diversified its activities to include not only design projects but the construction and assembly of interiors, or even whole superstructures, with a view to offering its customers a full service.
